Oreo Pizza Anyone?

I stumbled across this concoction when looking for a recipe for Oreos:

Most desserts get me excited…but I can’t say this does! Not distracted for long I continued my search for a recipe to rival Oreos themselves….

The finished product.

1. Dry ingredients (mess optional).

2. Add eggs and butter.

3. Bake: 9mins, 180°C.

4. Allow to cool.

5. Butter cream filling.

6. My added touch: Strawberry jam and red food colouring, peppermint flavouring and blue food colouring, vanilla extract.

7. Done. Adding the flavours to the butter cream filling went down a treat, with the exception of the peppermint, which tasted a little like toothpaste! Well, two out of three ain’t bad…

Biscuit:
1.25 cups plain flour
0.5 cups cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
0.25 teaspoons baking powder
0.25 teaspoons salt
1 cup sugar
0.5 cups unsalted butter (room temp)
1 large egg
Butter cream:
0.5 cups unsalted butter (room temp)
2 cups icing sugar (sifted)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (or any other flavours which take your fancy)
Please Note
I was eating these cookies for about three weeks (as were my friends) after using the quantities above, so halving the recipe may be a good start.
